Site-Hype

I just uploaded the next version of the Site-Hype software, you should be taken through an automated updating process, the next time you start the program.

This update has two aims, to get everyone to use the program more often and to improve the quality of the submitted links.

Starting with this (0.993) release you will get earn one point each day for just  starting the site-hype software.

About the problem with badly submitted links. We have had a few submitted links that has been submitted with the wrong url or submitted more than once.

This is kind of bad in at least two ways, first its confusing for the one who will vote who end up wasting time and second is that you will obviously not get any votes for your submission. Check the reports tab and if one of your posts seems to get most “broken link” votes it might be a good idea to remove the bad submission.

With this update the program now checks for the most common errors like submitting your main url as a direct link on a social site and it also checks if the site has already been submitted to the program.
