Preparation shows on the end results. Always and every time!

Have you ever bought the wrong last minute valentines gift, lost a game in your favorite sport when you knew you should have won or held a meeting that didn’t go the way you wanted?

If you fail to plan you plan to fail

Preparation is the way to get luck on your side. This goes also for writing articles. Don’t make the mistake of being blank in front of your computer…

Start the task of writing one step earlier.

You need to let your brain know that you are interested in a topic. Read what others have written, collect images related to your topic, look at videos and movies, get a good speaking partner to ask questions and discuss the topic with. Preparing well takes time. Preparing well makes for a better final result.

With good preparation your brain is familiar with the topic at hand and will hit you like lightning with good ideas. Use this to build a bulk of article ingredients that has your personal touch in form of drawings, words, views, statements and ideas. Set a timer and have a 7 minutes brainstorming session. Forget about your keywords for now, this comes later.

Now take a picture of your brainstorming with a digital camera. We will use it later.

Organize your brainstorming results into a flow. Don’t bother with perfection; you will reorganize the flow a few times anyway. Just do it now, no excuses.

This is creation time. Time to be creative.

Fill in the blanks and start building you article piece by piece. Forget about spelling, phrasing the correct way or using the exact right words, in fact, make a point about not rewriting a single word and keep a steady pace of writing.

Speed is important. Do NOT over think, keep your mind one step behind your hands at all time.

When you start to correct misspellings and do rephrasing you are done, let it rest over night or at least take a break. Your brain needs to shift focus from text production mode to turning your text into a successful traffic driving article.
