How to vote on Reddit

When you enter the Tagging tab in site-hype, and have a site to tagg and comment at reddit.com, Site-hype provide a link directly to the post.

Here you press the up arrow-button, the button changes color to orange.

If are not logged in you are asked to do so.

Comments are made by pressing the comment button after you have written your comment.

How to submit to Reddit

Login to the site and go to the “Submit a link” in the right margin of the site. Here you enter the URL you want to Submit and a good title.

Choose a subreddit in the dropdown menu if you find one that fit your post.

Check the “add to my saved sites” checkbox

And last you are asked an “are-you-human-question” which ensures that all submission are done by people and not automatic programs. This check does not care about upper or lower case letters.

Press the Submit button

Now you get to a page where you see your post. Make sure that you Press the Permalink text to go to a good URL to put in Site-Hype. This makes it easy for you fellow sitehypers and that is good for you so that the broken links reports are kept at a minimum.

Your Vote URL – This is important

Your Vote URL should look something like this:

http://www.reddit.com/r/science/comments/7ybnt/magenta_is_a_colour/

Do not use:

http://www.reddit.com/ or your original web page, since this will cause others to fail helping you

reddit (also Reddit) is a social news website on which users can post links to content on the web. Other users may then vote the posted links down or up, causing them to appear more or less prominently on the Reddit home page.
