How to earn credits on Diigo
Diigo is a bookmarking site with the extra feature that you can write notes on pages you have bookmarked.
To do your job in Site-Hype you bookmark the page you get to when pressing the visit button. This is easiest done if you have configured your browser with a Bookmarklet (Called diigolet) in the toolbar, you get instruction on how to get the bookmarklet when you signup for a free account.
A bookmarklet is a small computer application, stored as the URL of a bookmark in a web browser or as a hyperlink on a web page.
Spurl, Diigo, Delicious, Ask Mystuff, Google Bookmarks are in the same category of sites and you earn your credits in similar ways.
How to use the submit tab for Diigo
This is easy. To Submit your web page for Site-Hype you enter your web page URL as the Vote URL. This is set as default. Now people will be asked to bookmark your web page and they will find it easy from the tagging tab.

Diigo is a free social bookmarking website that allows members to add notes as well to web pages. Diigo recently purchased the large bookmarking site Furl and migrated their userbase to Diigo.
How to create accounts
Go to diigo.com and press the join diigo link in the upper right corner and click the signup up button. Fill in the form and click the continue button, on the next page you can fill in personal information but you can skip this page. .
Visit your email inbox and click the activation URL to make your account
active. When you activate you account you will be taken to a welcome page where you can add the Diigo button (diigolet) to your browser. You will need this to make submissions.
How to Bookmark on Diigo
Browse to the page you want to bookmark. Start the diigo bar if you don’t have it started. On the diigo bar click the Bookmark button .
Now a popup window opens and you can add additional information about
this page. You should add Title, Description and Tags. Make sure NOT to check the private checkbox, when done click the “Save bookmark” button.
In the Sitehype software you can add the original page as your vote URL.
How to vote on this site
Voting is not done in Diigo.
