The site hype idea

A warning message was displayed every time you entered a social if you had 0 credits, this is ofcource not needed and I removed it.

Submitted urls were always made to lowercase that caused issues on some social sites. Some sites uses upper and lower case characters in their urls and have a unix server that treats upper and lower case letters different. This was fixed, in practice it was only an issue on the tagza social web site.  But it was an error that is now fixed.

On the submit page I added buttons to all fields that will copy the content of the input field (title, description, keywords and url). Useful if you run site-hype as you submit. I now start by filling in the submit form and then from the program open upp all the socials I want to submit to. I can then simply copy my submisssion info from sitehype and paste it right into the text fields on the social site.

On the submit page. If you want to remove an url you no longer just delete the url text. I had no idea this was not possible before but if you entered some text into a field by misstake you had no way to get on since the text would be checked as an invalid url and you could not remove it, now you can.

Site hype software nearing completion

We have updated the software, probably the last update before launch and also cleaned old submissions from the database. Everyone will keep their old score and credits.

Site-hype beta cleanup

There are two big reasons outsourcing socialbookmarking is a good idea. First of all it gets done, and second, I can focus on building my business and creating original content for promotion.

Lately I have had my workers use the site-hyping software to do the bookmarking for me. I wanted to have some people who really spend time using the software and it gave me a chance to see if the instruction and software was easy enough to use. And since they work for me I get excellent feedback and can track what gets done and what works.

When you outsource it is always a good idea to create easy to follow step by step lists. Creating a step by step list forces you to really think through what you want done. It is very easy to blame the outsource company for not completing the task the way you wanted it done. But, did you really make it absolutely clear what you wanted done? Really?

For my outsourcing company I created two step by step documents for using site-hype. These are the tasks I want done on a weekly basis. First they had to create the account and add them to the software. Each week I provide the url I want worked on and they follow the written instructions.

The tagging document is for doing the tagging of submitted sites to earn credits in the site-hype system.

The submit document is for doing the actual bookmarking.

Feel free to look at the documents and model for your own outsourced tasks or to use if you want to use the site-hype software with your tasks.

How To Outsource Socialbookmarking

So far I haven’t advertised Site-hype or anything really. The only action I have been taking is to write this blog and to test the system to make sure the quality of the software is where I want it.

Actually I haven’t even created a sales page for the product yet, the only way to get in at this moment is to buy the $7 propeller report and get site-hype as a bonus.

For the people that are signed up now the benefit it perhaps not as great as it will be when the system is fully launched, BUT, there are a few big advantages for the early birds that I think outweighs the disadvantages.

When you submit your site to site-hype other users will comment and vote on your submissions to earn credits. As the user base expands the new users will earn credits on the submissions already in the system, submissions from the early users.

If you have been active in the forum it’s going to be easier to keep up with new users as they join to be able to build a relationship slowly and not be overwhelmed by the number of people already there.

And, it’s dirt cheap now.

Price will increase as the benefit gets bigger and as we create a real sales page and adds proof and testimonials.

We are also working with a few SEO companies to offer site-hype as a service where everything is done for you. Feel free to contact you if you are interested in the service or want to offer it to your customers.

Why getting in early with site-hype is a good idea?

If you clicked the visit button on the submit page all entered social urls were cleared. This has been fixed.

When you click the button for a supported social site on the submit page it will open the social site to the page for submission. I have added support to autofill the socials with the title, url and so on. Its been implemented on some of the socials and we will be adding more, this is now on the server side and should not require any updates to the software.

Posting to the socials sites can be done by hand site by site. This can be is very time consuming here are a few tips to get more results from your time.

One solution is to outsource your social bookmarking process to a SEO company. just google and you will find many companies. This will cost you but you get it done for all your articles and you can just ignore the whole problem all together and rely on it getting done. Time is after all the one resource you can never get back.

Another solution is to add buttons to your web site that allow your visitors to vote on a web page and submit the page if it is not already submitted (http://www.addthis.com/bookmark.php for example). This is a good idea and you should to do. The problem is that you need the initial visitors to and only a few of your visitors will actually do the bookmarking. Still, do this and in your post, tell your readers to actually bookmark the site with the buttons. I have a plug-in installed in Wordpress that automatically adds button below the post, why don’t you test it yourself with this page.

A third option is to use a web service or program that will help you do the posting. Services like social marker, ( http://www.socialmarker.com/ ) and social poster ( http://socialposter.com/ ) are free and will take you through the social sites one after another and pre-fill the fields for you. This saves a lot of time but there is still a manual step.

I use all three of the above suggestions all depending on the page. When I have submitted a add some of the socials to the site-hype program to boost my votes.
